SSL Almaty office was established in 2002 to develop container and trailer business between EU and Central Asia. SSL has since grown to a major player in this market and has recently expanded to the Far Eastern markets using SSL owned containers on Chinese and Kazak railways services.

Track on road in the Mongolia

SSL operates by own 20ft and 40ft containers to all Central Asian states including Uzbekistan, Kirgizstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan as well as Mongolia. Shipments can be arranged from world wide using SSL’s dedicated partners and agents.

Container deliveries from China are arranged by direct rail link from all main Chinese ports and cities to Kazakhstan via Alashankou-Dostyk and Khorgos-Altyn Kol rail borders where SSL has own representatives. Local delivery to final destination is controlled by SSL’s office in Almaty.

Urgent cargo from Europe or Russia to Central Asia can be moved using SSL’s double manned overland trucks. SSL offers both tilt and reefer trailers from all EU origins to Kazakhstan and the neighbouring states.

“High and Heavy” project shipments to Central Asia can be moved using either special low loader trailers or by conventional rail platforms.
