This includes a commitment to satisfying applicable statutory, regulatory, and customer requirements, as well as addressing risks and opportunities that may affect conformity of services.
3. Continual Improvement and Verification
Independent verification of the QMS shall be conducted by an accredited certification body. Continual improvement is achieved through internal audits, supplier evaluations, performance monitoring, trend analysis, corrective actions, and management review.
4. Understanding and Competence
Operational staff are aware of the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 relevant to their roles and are competent to perform their duties. Training and development needs are identified and addressed to ensure ongoing competence and awareness.

All systems, processes, and procedures forming part of the QMS are mandatory and apply across the organisation. They shall be consistently implemented and adhered to by all directors and employees.
6. Context of the Organisation
SSL determines external and internal issues relevant to its purpose and strategic direction, and monitors these to ensure the effectiveness of the Quality Management System. The needs and expectations of interested parties are also considered.
7. Maintenance and Review
The QMS is regularly reviewed to ensure its continuing suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness. Quality objectives are established and monitored, and compliance with procedures is verified to ensure consistent service delivery.
